I've learned the hard way that sometimes, it is indeed best not to meet your heroes. With this in mind, for some reason, I've purposely avoided talking to one of the greatest songwriters in the world, even though I see him all over the place and have heard that he's a humble, decent dude. It’s Valentine’s Day, and we here don’t take this goofy, made up, greeting card “holiday” too seriously, so we’re glad to play some of the dark & twisted love songs that we most enjoy. On a more serious note, tomorrow is the second anniversary of the death of the great Willie P. Bennett, and since you can’t buy his music anywhere (a crying shame!), we’ve got to do our best to get it out there and keep it heard. We’re glad to do so and we promise to never stop.
