Jason Plumb
Old Market Square
(part of the Winnipeg Folk Festival Summer noon-hour concert series)
June 16, 2005

You know you're from Saskatchewan when you wear those particular boots to a gig. They've even got a hole in the toe. They really make the ensemble (including fashionable glasses) pop. That's a term I picked up on TLC. Betcha Jason thought music was the only pop he had going on.

Only a guy from Saskatchewan would come to a free gig and not bother to bring any CDs to sell. Not gonna make any money that way farm boy.

I do love Jason Plumb though. He's a great guy and writes terrific pop songs, and is honest and confident enough to dress however he damn well pleases, and I have to respect that.
